Help your player learn their spot
Know Your Spot is a free soccer app your child can use on their own, even before they can read. Ten minutes on the couch means less time standing in the wrong place on game day.
Pictures, one word, a voice
Your child sees where their position stands, what its jobs are, how the team moves and the team's set plays. Everything can be tapped to hear it said out loud. There is a short quiz they can play again and again.

The app is free to use. No account for players or families.
In the browser
It works in any phone's browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
English and Spanish
Choose the language and the voice in the app's settings.
Built to know as little as possible
The app is made for children to use, so it is made to know as little as possible about anyone. This is what our privacy policy promises.
For your child
- Players and families never make an account.
- Nothing about a child is collected: no name, no age, no photo, no location.
- No ads, no tracking and no analytics.
- A child can type their own name or number onto their spot. It stays on that phone or tablet and is never sent anywhere.
Good to know
- Opening a club's link lets the phone read that club's plays and nothing else.
- If a play is saved on a phone that opened a club's link, its name and the words typed into its steps go to that club's admins to read. Nothing about who typed them is sent.
- Please do not type anyone's name into a play's steps.
- Signing in is only for adults, and it is optional. Accounts are not for children.

Your club's link first
If your club or coach gave you a link, use that one. It has your team's plays in it. Open it once and the plays stay on the phone. If you do not have one, open the app and start with Spots.
Add it to your home screen
It opens like an app, full screen, and keeps working at the field with no signal.
iPhone or iPad
- Open the app link in Safari.
- Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
Android
- Open the app link in Chrome.
- Tap the three dots at the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Tap Install or Add.
